Confidence is sensed when you walk in the room, and so is the lack of it

In order to succeed it takes a certain amount of confidence. Let’s think about this, before any great musician, or dancer, or doctor became the best in their field they had to place a certain of amount of confidence in themselves in order to believe they could.

3 Confidence Boosters

Go the extra mile: Take some extra time in the morning when you get dress, where you have to say to yourself before anyone else gets a chance, “You look good!” Don’t always look for validation from others to like your look, when you love it, that love radiates and people can feel your confidence in yourself and they too will love it.

Be prepared: Jennifer Lopez once noted that she is insecure when she isn’t prepared. When you aren’t prepared for your tasks you aren’t at your very best. You feel inferior to the others around you whom are more knowledgeable. You aren’t as confident as you would be if you were prepared and eventually it shows.

Fake it until you make it: You can’t prepare for every single thing or know every single thing you should know. But even if you don’t, show a little confidence in your voice, people will most likely believe you or respect you for not cracking under pressure when you didn’t know something. As the saying goes dazzle them with brilliant or bethel them with BS (Bull sh*t).

It won’t hurt to try.

Who is that person that challenges you to get up and move forward?

I make my own rules; New rules…

Why are their rules?

As children growing up, we often questioned rules. It was hard to understand why so many rules were placed throughout are lives. What people often don’t realize is that there are rules because they likely happened before. There are so many rules/laws; like waiting to drive until your 15 and those rules are mostly for safely. Then there are “rules”, that are of more societal rules that aren’t on paper but we follow them just as if they were that are more of tool of control by society. Set into place to control.

One “rule” being the ideal path of American society. We all have to know what we want to be, go college, get a job, get married, and have kids… And if you don’t do everything exactly the ideal way you are an outcast. There is nothing wrong with the rule, but rules come with limitations.

Its okay to follow the rules but be afraid to break some or make new rules because they aren’t for you is scary. When the rules leave you plagued, you have to make the decision for yourself to find your own rules.
And the most successful who made their own rules and did it their own way, are yelling New rules! You didn’t have to do it the way your father, mother, grandparents, siblings, uncles and aunts did it. Find your own way and make your own rules. “New rules”, that you come up with along the way.

The music you listen to says something about you whether you know it or not….

Music is so influential...

Music is so influential…

No matter you age or sex, a single song can have the power to move you immensely. Music is powerful, we often don’t realize the impact it has on our lives. Let’s use “Boss” our imaginary character as an example. She wakes up to music on her radio alarm. Then on the way to the gym the radio is on playing music. At the gym her headphones are on playing her workout playlist. After her work out on the way home there is the music on the radio again. All before 10 am, she has listened to so much music already. And that isn’t even the entire day; she has yet to go to work or school.

So it is cognitive that Boss is aware of the type of music she is playing, because that music is constantly being imbedded into her mind. The type of music she listens too says something about the type of person she is whether she realizes it or not. Even if not all the way, an inkling of it does. Don’t just allow your ears to be exposed to just anything. Listen to music that moves you, motivates and inspires you.
